What's going on with metals???

Ok Not my usual MO to post but what the heck is with the market and metals? If you don't know what I'm talking about call your bullion dealers and ask them if they have any gold or silver bullion-- and here's the key words "In stock"- They don't!!!! Silver has been gone for about 6 weeks and the major wholesalers of bullion are OUT!!! The funny thing is nothing much is happening to the spot price- I know of several bullion dealers who are closed for business because they don't have a product to sell-and as for those dealers that saturate the media with their message to buy precious metals - they will take your order but just find out how long you will have to wait to receive your coins. I've been scanning the market media for a reason as to why the actual hard asset is in non existent supply and have heard NOTHING!

I have even contacted a major spokesperson in the market reporting arena and they have not even bothered to reply to me! I have watched the metals market almost daily for the past 16 years and I have never seen this happen before - Any answers out there??
